We are a green coffee exporter and importer , celebrating specialty coffee at origin.Based in Montreal and working directly from origin, we build close relationships both at origin and with roasters at home. Our story is about people: the producers who craft the coffee, and the roasters who reveal its full potential.
Our mission is simple: to share the true character of coffees at origin and bring them beyond their borders with care, transparency, and respect.

Founder
Océane has always been deeply connected to the world of coffee. During her studies, she worked in several coffee shops, and whenever she had free time, she could be found exploring cafés across Montreal and chatting with baristas, roasters, and anyone passionate about coffee.
Although her background was originally in finance — she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a major in Finance from HEC Montréal and previously worked at a bank — she always knew her path would eventually lead back to coffee.In 2023, a new opportunity took her to Lima, Peru, where she discovered an entirely new coffee culture. Peru is home not only to exceptional coffee shops but also to a vibrant, passionate community. Barista classes, workshops, festivals — the energy was constant and inspiring. Eager to learn more, she enrolled in barista classes to refine her skills, explore new brewing methods, and discover Peru’s incredible diversity of local coffees. Despite barely speaking Spanish at the time, she embraced the journey and learned along the way.
Soon after, she started connecting directly with producers, roasters, and café owners. These conversations sparked the idea that changed everything: creating her own coffee brand. Within two months, Maison Café (IG: @maisoncafe__) was born — a brand built in close collaboration with Peruvian producers, with the mission of giving them the visibility they truly deserve.
A year later, driven by the desire to amplify that impact beyond borders, Océane founded Maison Coffee Imports. While rooted in Peru, the company works with multiple origins, partnering with producers across different countries to showcase exceptional coffees and ensure their stories are seen, respected, and shared with roasters worldwide.
